After obtaining an MBA in Economics, Leo Brand started his career at the airline KLM, where he worked in different positions for eight years, both in The Netherlands and in Germany. After KLM, he became manager at the strategic consultancy firm A.T. Kearney. Later on he became one of the founders of Adcore Strategy, where he took the helm as managing director. Brand was the pioneer in commercializing Wifi in the early days and founded Megabeam in London which was sold to Swisscom where he also was the CEO for almost twelve years. Nowadays he is Vopak’s CIO and is involved in different start-ups.
Candice has spent the last 18 years of her career working with and for Financial Services institutions in The Netherlands, South Africa and United Kingdom. Candice is currently the CIO for NN International where she is accountable for Technology in 11 countries across Europe and in Japan and plays an active role in driving the digital transformation of the International organization. Before joining NN in 2017 , Candice was a Managing Director within Financial Services at Accenture in the Netherlands and led the Banking Consulting and Technology practices for NL. During her 16 year consulting career at Accenture, Candice worked with many FSIs to assist them in defining their business and technology strategy and playing a role executing and delivering against that strategy. Throughout her career Candice has been active in driving and supporting diversity and building teams that reflect the society in which they worked. Norman Stuertz started his career with JPMorgan in Frankfurt and London, where he gained experience in the short term securities, treasury and foreign exchange business in mid- and front-office roles. Norman continued his career in consulting with BearingPoint and Capgemini and projects in London, Munich, Madrid and Vienna on system and process topics for trading, asset management and private banking. Since 2007 Norman is with Credit Suisse in Zurich where he has lead IT units as Head Of Application Development and was Chief Of Staff for IT. Since 2016 he is in the role of a Divisional Chief Data Officer, and a data enthusiast when it comes to data management and data monetization.
